Kyle Ringle, Austin Criminal Attorney

Kyle is a Dallas, Texas native who recently moved back to Austin with his wife, Ellen and chocolate lab, Bowie. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government, he attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas. While in law school, Kyle worked as a legal clerk for a family law firm, interned with Chief Judge Ricardo Hinojosa of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in McAllen, and Justice Elizabeth Lang-Miers of the 5th District Court of Appeals in Dallas.

After law school, Kyle was selected for a prestigious federal Law Clerk position with the Honorable Karen Gren Scholer of the Northern District of Texas. During his time, he oversaw the Court’s criminal cases, ranging from illegal reentry up to complex international drug smuggling rings operating in the Dallas area. Kyle continued to pursue his interest in the criminal law field by becoming an Assistant District Attorney for the Dallas County DA’s Office, handling hundreds of cases and taking over a dozen cases to trial. This experience as a prosecutor makes Kyle an effective advocate for his clients across the state.

When not in court, Kyle can be found behind the drums or on the keyboard and enjoys sampling Austin’s music and culinary scenes.
