J. Michael McBride, Fort Worth Criminal Attorney

Michael graduated from Emory University and SMU School of Law. He began his practice working for a Federal District Court Judge and thereafter he worked at law firms in both downtown Dallas and Fort Worth, before opening his own bankruptcy firm here in Fort Worth.

Prior to joining Dunham and Jones, Michael was a felony prosecutor in the Tarrant County DA's office, in its White Collar/Public Integrity section.

He has successfully argued in person on behalf of his clients before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans and has won appeals at the Fort Worth Court of Appeals and in other Federal Circuits. He is a published author.

Michael is a member of the Board of Directors of Tarrant County Bar Association; he has worked with the TCBA's free legal clinic for Veterans as a way of supporting those who served our country. He is a long-time volunteer with Union Gospel Mission; helped establish the Prayer Bear Ministry at Cook Children's Medical Center.

Michael is a member of the Texas and New York State Bar Associations, is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
